Yes, Marta retired after Baku because of an injury Sad (even in Baku she did only one routine). Such a shame, she was the best in the ESP group IMO.
Now the ESP group is: Bárbara González, Nuria Velasco, Isabel Pagán, Ana Pelaz, Lara González, Violeta González, Verónica Ruiz, Bet Salom and Cristina Dassaeva. I don't know if all of them will continue or not for 2007... I'll inform you when I know Wink

Well, We know certainly that all gymnasts that are in Madrid CAR they are in Spanish National Team but about Almu and Esther we don´t know. I know that they are training but we don´t know if Anna Baranova will consider them for some international competitions or not.

Is necessary to say that they are going away to make a series of controls to know who is "well shape" or not is to each competition.

We will have to hope for certainly knowing it to the competitions Rolling Eyes

You are welcome Wink I hope so, but it will be very difficult with the EC being held in Baku... Confused I'll be happy if they have a good season and -most important- a promising future Very Happy

As Lilia said, they are not officially in the National Team if they are not in Madrid. I hope that, at least Almu, will be sent to International Competitions... GO ALMU!

I'm glad you all liked the photos Smile
BTW, I edited my post and added new pictures of the group and Bárbara.

Love,

What a great expression!
Nuria Artigues, I never saw her in videos. How is she? Could you tell me more about her? Qualities, style, RG school?

Thank you! Her casack elements are very strong! Her ribbon handling is very good too even if in this competition she got tiny problems. I will surely follow her. I think that she has to improve the high of her leaps and some pivots she falls but maybe it is only in this routine and not all the time... I like her very much, she shows great potential!
