Just in case someone might need an extra reason to travel to D'cup : This is going to be the easter week-end in Western-Europe. So if you want to enjoy your free days without staying blocked in the car for many ours you'd better think about it!

First of all ukraine-rg will be back soon.

Secondly,
group exercise can be extended to other Federations, they should address to the organizers via ugf@ukraine-rg.com

also there will be a junior competition - same as last year. FIG will send the invitation separately, they could not publish it because it does not belong to World Cup event.

We sincerely hope for a high participation like last year.

If anybody is interested to come also, ask also via the same e-mail mentioned above, we will try to help with accommodation etc.

World Cup comes back to Kiev!
On 21-23 of March Kiev will once more become a mecca of world rhythmic gymnastics. Since 1992 regularly Kiev has been organizing an international competition under the name of “Deriugina Cup – NAFOGAZ”, but only since it entered the World Cup family in 2007 it received a new splash of participation – 36 countries have visited Kiev last year.
In 2008 Kiev will become the first meeting point of the Beijing top medal contenders leaded by the host favourite Anna Bessonova (UKR) , a reigning World Champion. Spectators in Kiev will also see Natalia Godunko (UKR) – World and European champion, Olga Kapranova and Vera Sesina (both RUS) – all-round World Champion 2005 and all-round European Champion 2006, Aliya Garaeva (AZE) – European Champion 2007 with rope and many others including Inna Zhukova (BLR), Simona Peycheva (BUL) and Almudena Cid (ESP). Kiev might also become an important stage of preparation of the young gymnastics countries – such newscomers to the worldwide gymnastics family like Syria and Jordan will for the first time participate in such an important competition.
This year the format of competition in Kiev was extended : if in 2007 it was a World Cup for only individual gymnasts, but in 2008 group exercise competition has been added to the schedule. The participation of top 12 countries of the last World Championship 2007 in Patras is expected with Russia, Italy, Belarus, Bulgaria, Spain, Ukraine, Japan and others.
Nowadays the junior gymnasts are developing very fast and a special additional junior tournament that will be held in Kiev the same date might show some new future stars.

Hooby, don't you find you need to give people more time then 25 min to respond? Please, be patient. Not everybody can come all the time on the internet. I'm sure or IH will tell you soon or you will see it on their website when it's online. Ukraine federation always makes sure the fans know a lot about participants, results, photos, videos. They try everything, so the fans who can not go to see it live, still knows a lot what's happening.
