Emerald City Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics in sunny San Diego, California USA is looking for some dynamic rhythmic gymnastics coaches to join our staff of highly experienced coaches to help us meet the growing demand for our program. Our international staff includes recent Olympic athletes, national team coaches from several countries as well as retired high level USA gymnasts

These positions involve working with a variety of rhythmic gymnasts in their skills development, including individuals and groups, and training gymnasts from beginning levels to US National Team.

Competitive level coaches will need a solid knowledge of FIG Code of Points, the ability to master the USA gymnastics Junior Olympic program requirements and a profound desire to teach/coach in a positive and team-oriented environment.

We are looking for individuals with experience coaching individuals as well as FIG and/or JO group and/or aesthetic group gymnastics (AGG).

Emerald City is a sponsor of multiple long-term O visas and will offer sponsorship for highly-qualified candidates.

The successful applicant will be employed 10 - 30 hours per week to start, with additional private lesson, choreography and other hours available. Working hours are usually after school hours (3pm-8pm) weekdays and on Saturdays or Sundays.

Along with being skilled in the technical aspects of the sport and the human aspect of coaching young girls, you need to be energetic and enthusiastic, have excellent character, a strong positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.

Recently retired rhythmic high-level gymnasts, ballet teachers, artistic gymnastics teachers and Aesthetic Group Gymnastics instructors are welcome to apply.

Salaries are competitive.

Our training facilities have 39 foot (12m) and 69 foot (21m) clear height.
