First I want to say that I was happy that I could be in Berlin to see the RG competition, I met Escalina, unfortunately I didn't meet Esther and Anna Kull.

Secondly, it seems that the best years for Irina Tchachina are over. So it was in Berlin, she lost her apparatus too often. Anna Bessonova had also bad luck, but her performances look better than Irina's I must say.

Unfortunately I hadn't the time to see the competition on Sunday. I visited also horsebackriding friends, and it was not enough time on Sunday to go to the competition.

My photos are surely not the best, I don't have such a good camera like others, but I will put many photos in the next days on my homepage.

But it was wonderful to be in Berlin again. Very Happy

I just received the tip that Lisa Ingildeeva will be performing in Berlin. I'm sooo happy for her, because she's a very intelligent, kind and nice girl and a good gymnast either...

I think we'll have a nice show there...

Is it really going to be Russia's domination in Baku? But this time without Ira??? I agreed that she would never be so strong like she was, but deep in my heart I hoped that she's going to stand the pressure, work hard and pull herself together just for that last Championships, take the gold she was taken in 2001...but now, I think there's no chance anymore Sad But Ira, "You will, when you believe" Wink
I think Anna's bad luck doesn't show her shape at the moment, everbody have good days and less good days!
Actually I'm happy that Kapranova is so strong, RG needs new talents, who would change the old queens, when they decide to retire some day, but....I REALLY don't want Olya to win that important title Shocked

Unfortunately if you have a bad day as it seems that Irina and Bessanova did well you get knocked out Crying or Very sad

But I too think that they are both going to pushed back of the podium in future competitions and that in Baku we will see a similar podium Sad

Ok here we go:

At first I want to say that I was a little desapointed about the Swiss group. I saw their training in the morning (Saturday) and they were verry clean and in the comp. they had many mistakes:( I hope they will be able to show what they can do in Baku!
BUL were fantastic in 3 routines especially their ribbon is amazing!!¨However they had a big drop in h/c on Sunday. I think that they are more stable than RUS and will be the world champions.
I saw RUS training in the morning on Saturday. 2 gymnasts constantly needed icespray and were limbing after the routines. On Saturday they had a knot in a ribbon from the verry beginning and didn't get it out of it.
BLR had mistakes on Saturday but did well on Saturday. I like their ribbons a lot!
Spain has verry speedy and original routines. I really like hoop/clubs
Greece have niece routines but they were really verry verry unlucky on Saturday with h/C because there was a big drop and a pair of clubs was brocken apart and they completly lost their choreo for some 10 secounds.
AZE group has niece ribbon routine but is not to original IMO.
I have to say that I'm really tired of 5 ribbons routines! It's really to long now allready...
