Haha, don't worry... I'm not laughing at your expence... It's just that some of the Norwegian girls have experienced that their names are very altered when they compete in international competitions... The funniest must be tne girl who had her last name pronounced as "Groovy" at a competition in the US... |

How about Gabor (GER), whose name was announced every time as "gay bar"? Poor girl, but we laughed a lot, the announcer didn't notice her mistake.
Or execution judges, who were called "Executive" (i suppose, on the list there was indicated only "ex" and the announcer didn't know how to call it). _________________ Go Alina, you are the Olympic Champion 2008!!! |

Thank you, Invisible Hedgehog for the name of the qualifiers but does out "out of competition" mean? It means the gymnast isn't going to compete? _________________ *Don't ever let someone tell you that you can't do something. You got a dream, you got to protect it. No, they compete but their scores don't count for the official results.
Anjie - I suppose that's Marie Grøvle? |

I'm glad that she's getting a chance to do some international competitions. She's been on the Canadian team for about two year but hasn't really done anything about it. It'll be good to finally see her at a higher level. |
