for the rule about the tights over the leo, I don't understand why it still exists... almost everybody wear it under the leo... (when it's over it, it makes really weird )
but maybe the tights are sewed on the leo... and then it's not a leo anymore but a unitard... perfectly allowed... but we'll never know... _________________ my website about leotards, drawings etc... => http://creapik.com UPDATED 22 SEP 2018 |

believe me the second leotard in not against the rules ....every gymnast wears the tights under the leo
in 2005 we asked in greece a member of TC about this and you can wear it under the leo....so I think she knows better....you cannot see the leo very clear because the mother that put this on the net(not in this forum because she knows who I am)took the pic from her videocamera ....and that's why you cannot understand the leo.....I think there is something behind all this !!!!!! |

Interesting topic..
Has there actually ever been pulled deductions because of a leotard?
I don't know about you guys, but when I saw these leo's I immediatly felt sick.. http://br.youtube.com/watch?v=-SKBLtTQqDI&feature=related I would never, ever make my pupils to perform in that 'thing', no matter what sport they're in.. I wouldn't want to perform in it as well, either.
I would be found dead wearing it, not to mention living. |

Is this leo (leo without skirt) allowed during a competition, although the competition had already been in the year 2003 (after 1999)??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_Z_eCyFTlc Remembering back in the year 2000, when my friends and I had our first competition in the new year (February 2000), we weren’t allowed to wear leos without skirts anymore due to the new code for leotards. |

since 2001, the gymnasts are allowed to wear a skirt, not obliged to...
maybe it depends on the country but I never heard of a competition where the gymnasts had to wear a skirt _________________ my website about leotards, drawings etc... => http://creapik.com UPDATED 22 SEP 2018 |

What about one-shouldered leotards. The idea came to me the other day and I wonder if this is allowed. Obviously not on a girl with a large chest because that could be an issue if oyu know what i mean...but if the other side was held up by a kind of transparent string like the ones put in clothes so they dont fall off the hangers... have i explained it right?
well anyway i was wondering if it would ever be possible to make a oneshouldered leotard... because this would be very original _________________ RSG Love forever

No I don't like this way that Godunko has it. I mean without two sleeves and with only one shoulder...like the dresses that are popular thiese days but on a leotard..kind of like this: http://www.flauntbodywear.com/catalog/images/DSC_0624.jpg
I thik for rhythmic gymnastics this would be very beautiful _________________ RSG Love forever
