If a gymnast does a roll on the floor while doing the split roll like Neat does at 0:16, how do I write it on the form?
roll symbol (floor symbol+flexibility symbol) = 0,2 or what?

I wouldn't write it as "roll on the floor" because it means roll on the body while being on the floor right? But since I've sen gymnasts doing it, it must count as a Mastery.. Watching

To count as handling, rolls on the floor have to be a series, so 3 small rolls in the flex.

Tahnee, can you show me a video where a gymnast is doing 3 small rolls during that split roll? I can't really imagine how it is done since the flexibility itself is so quick.. Neutral
If the gymnast holds the ball between her [front knee] and [below of her jaw] (can't really explain better) during the split roll, is it static? Razz

You can begin the mastery (serie of small rolls) before the technical element or finish it after the technical element. I think Neta Rivkin is trying this in her ball routine, although I do not see 3 rolls...

Edit: I just read that you can hold the ball between the upper part of the body and the leg. This counts as instable balance.

Yes, you can repeat it in a different flexibility.

I don't think you can. I think that walkover was part of the mastery with throw.

I know that is an element; The Ring without help is a static element, so you are allowed to perform a walkover into it. The value is 0.4, but I don't know how you would write it.

Before the changes it was enough to do just a circle movement with the arm, in order to count it as a apparatus handling, but what I can see you can't do that now, is that correct?
If someone understands me, please answer Smile

Thanks in advance!

And if you do "an 8" with the arm, is that worth anything? in such cases how do you write it?

Hello,

Could someone please tell me if this is considered to be “static apparatus” when the gymnast hold her ball while performing double turn?

Thank you.

As long as she is not grasping the ball with her fingers,or squeezing it agaist her wrist/forearm, but holding it in a relaxed (non gripped) manner then it is not considered as static but in an unstable position.

Hi! My question: Somebody told me that if you catch the ball after a risk with both hands it won´t be counted. Is this correct? If yes, so would it be possible to catch the ball after a risk this way?: (0:55) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAldaMnbHcA
