I would like to submit a suggestion to improve this forum. As many threads become very big (page 1,2,3....78,79,80) does it possible to add a fast forward and backword buttons for pages? As my example is showing it, it is a bit longer to get page 56 with the courrant way.
For example, in addition to buttons bringing you to next or prior page, have 2 new buttons bringing you 10 pages forward or 10 pages backward. I think that would be useful for the big threads. _________________ My channel on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/michoumisalade

On WWGym this can be done. The thing is that this would require some forum software updating, and that would require Alex to be around to do it. _________________ I have a gymnastics blog again. Here we go. toomanyamanars.blogspot.com |

Just a little tip.
example:
You´re in the "Same leotard-different gymnast"- topic (page 71)and wanna go back in a fast way.
Just change the numbers in the end of the link. That means: delete the last four numbers of the page 71 link-> "1051" and fill in a smaller number like "950".
There you are!
links to the pages

Hope I could help a bit. _________________ If you can dream it you can do it |

Not sure if this is related but when you search for something you can't see what page of the topic it's mentioned on, so if it's a big topic you can end up scrolling through about 30 pages to find what you want... _________________ Bring on the wall!

there is a solution. Choose "posts" in stead of "topics"
Then you see the name of the topic, but just above the place where you can read the first lines of that post there also is following information
Forum: Gymnastic Videos Posted: Sat, 21-Aug-2010 18:18 Subject: Evgenia Kanaeva (PREFERRED)
If you then click on the name left to "subject", you will get forwarded immediatly to that post in stead of the first post of the topic.
I hope you understand this, otherwise i'll make screenshot. |
