Do you know where I could find the results of the 1984 Alternate Games (or Friendship Games, "Druzhba")? This competition was held in Varna, Bulgaria for those gymnasts whose countries boycotted the Los Angeles Olympics. _________________ "Too many judges are fooled into thinking a smile equals style."

Maybe the events got the name later, but that competition was held for the countries whom did"t participated on the Olimpics Games in L.A. because some politics reason. in my opinion it"s was a really bad idea.
I remember, because I was there.
The Bulgarians was wonderful, the young Bianca Panova was absolutely wonderful the Hungarians, Anna Molnar, Andrea Sinko, Zsuzsa Turak, You should ask them. |
