i just came home very tired so i will write only few reaults from the G.P.and short impression.
First,Thank you Russia for giving us Kaneava and Kondakova Love -
Amazing gymnasts with amazing difficult routines.

The top gymnasts in the hoop final showed very high level,no big drops and amazing difficult routines.
1.Kaneava-beautiful as always but not perfect yet.
2.Kondakova-amazing risks and great expression but not perfect as well.
3.Greava-a great expressive routine but she also had small mistakes.

The ball final was great to watch, very interesting routines.
1.Kondakova-very clean and emotional, really enjoyed from her today
2.Dmitrieva-difficult and interesting expressive routine but with mistakes(and she has an injury in her knee)
3.Greava-a great routine(with one mistake in the pivot),i liked it more then Dmitrieva's routine.

+beautiful touching ball routine from Rivkin.
and difficult amazing ball from Trofimova, but pity about the mistake.

I hope i remember right the clubs final results
1.Kaneava-her only routine with few drops.
2.Alybeva-good and clean.
3.Rivkin-altough it's not her strongest routine, she deserved this medal becauseTrofimova and Rizdatinova had many drops and Dmitrieva and Greava had drops as well.

In the Ribbon final
1.Kaneava-so beautiful to watch !
2.Dmitrieva- with few mistakes.
3.Trofimova-a great routine ! (a better routine then Dmitrieva did-i liked it more..)

Thanks Tom,hope to see you also next year !.
I will add in short-
Borisova has improved her clubs routine-no drops and more confident.her ribbon was also beautiful to watch.
Boltina did great difficult clubs and in the ribbon-beautiful pivots+mistakes .

The highlight of today competition for seniors was Shynkarenko's clubs routine-really beautiful and without mistakes(but she had many mistakes with ribbon).Mazur was clean and good in clubs and was also lovely to watch with her clean ribbon. The Russain gymnasts did many mistakes today,Nazarenkova did less mistakes then the others..Javadi did a great ribbon routine and Kesenia(France) did a great clubs routine.

Some random personal notes... (Am on a break from photos =)=)=))

At one point when gala was all finished. I turned to Barny and we compared notes about camera settings etc and the galas a bit... Re the galas, fair to say we were kinda blown away! Ok, we both see a fair number of galas year to year. First thing said to Barny was-> wow! Zhenya's gala was different! Was her same golden hybrid rope apparatus with green chiffon costume...except this time Zhenya's presentation was new and even better put together. Dasha Dmitrieva's as well was stunning choreo as ever...

What else... I think it was just after Dalit came over to say Hi! during the mid-day break (yes, I will try to come next year, Dalit!Smile) Was about 10-15min later, am working on labeling images etc in our work area and out of the blue Viktoria Shynkarenko walks over and asks to see her photos. Was I ever blown away!!!!! (I have to explain something here... Hardly ever happens. I don't seek out gymnasts, period. I am not into that. I come to try take nice photos and sometimes write short media-journalist reports. Then hang with my friends when work is finished. Is all good and we are all into RG.) Only I can count on one hand or less, the number of times per year that a major team player, am able to talk to them. With UKR, it just hardly ever happens, period. Yes, I have met Anya (and Toma) once or twice in 10-years...but is very rare.

So whew, I have to say, I am big fan of Viktoria now. She is lovely in person up-close (tall!) and her teammates are just as nice (Viktoria Mazur & Ganna Rizatdinova came over too after a bit). Ok, so meeting team UKR really made my day. What else... I asked her about D-Cup and Viktoria confirmed, it is delayed a bit to later in spring due to re-modeling of Palats Sportu arena in Kiev. Htg bed now, am zonked. Byee all, -T

Russia has dominated all since years ago ,lol

Viktoria Shynkarenko is very talented, i seen her Hoop routine last year and i liked a lot ,just some improvements and i think would fill the void space that Anna left and until now nobody has filled until this days.

Russian's junior groups coach is doing very well, if we do the comparison with senior groups.

is strange that Bulgaria did not sent any senior gymnast to Holon, just junior gymnasts, maybe the news that i read on the Bulgarian forum is not just a rumor about budget problems this year.

By the way Tom, i am back here, i hope be here for long time .....
