I would recommend against it. You're not really supposed to do any hard activities while it is healing and it can take a long time. You probably don't want to loose that much training for something as little as a piercing....
also when they are get ripped out by accident it hurts soooooo bad. One of the most painful things I've ever experienced. _________________ <3 Kondakova, Kanaeva, Bessonova, Mustafina, McCormick <3 |

Hmm, I think you risk to hurt yourself if you perform something which makes your belly touching the ground fastly, like this one at 0:22-0:23 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXRLC4QUcjU or even something like this:
But I can't tell you for sure, I don't have any piercings, I'm just supposing it. |

I also think that by doing a bridge, it will hurt so badly.. I would advise you to wait until after you quit RG.. _________________ There is a bit of insanity in dancing that does everybody a great deal of good. |

Especially during the healing process your bellybutton could rip.. I'm not saying that it definitely happens but the chance is there.. Since RG has a lot of flexibility elements in it! |

I have my belly button pierced and it hasn't affected my RG or dance skills; just takes a couple weeks to heal that's all _________________ ♥ Bessonova, Kondakova, Dmitrieva, Rizatdinova ♥ |

as long as you use the cleaning solution you get at the piercing shop so it doesn't get infected due to dirt and sweat _________________ ♥ Bessonova, Kondakova, Dmitrieva, Rizatdinova ♥ |

I really want mine done too but I'm getting so many conflicting messages, half of the people I've asked say it's fine and the other half say to wait until I've quit...but even when I do quit I don't plan to go 6-12 months without doing any kind of exercise!! _________________ Bring on the wall!

if you go to a good piercer there shouldnt be problems at all. i did mine and 2 hours later i had to be in the gym. and it was no problem, it hurt a bit when doing chest stand or something but you can put a plaster on it for the first week if you wish. other than that, its absolutely fine trust me!
i mean every girl i know has ear studs and no one says: ooh i have ear studs i cant go to the gym
with piercings its super fine.. with tattoos its not! then you would have to take a break from training |

The difference between ears and stomach is that you don't use the former in RG at all - unless your mastery is bouncing a ball of your ear or something
My friend was in AG and got her belly button pierced, then couldn't train for a month because when she stretched it pulled at the piercing and hurt. So if you want to get it get it, but don't expect to not regret it XD _________________ My youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/xxJodelleFerlandxx?feature=mhee
