well I don't have so many informations, but I think she's from Omsk as well, she is like a second mum for Ira, and she trained a lot of good gymnasts.. I think she also trained Zayka Gizikova, during the suspension of Ira and Alina. I think she's a great coach, and she probably is much better than Viner in her work. I heard that Ira once said that if Vera would leave the national centre, she would go away as well.
I don't know much more, but she and ira really look like a team..

I sort of gathered from years of postings that Vera Shtelbaums was the coach/ second mum/ mentor to Ira T. primarily, but that she has also in past or present been the coach for Laisan Utyasheva (not anymore) Marina Shpekt, Svetlana Putintseva and Evgenia Kanaeva. Is this true?

No, at least Ermakova is partly with her own coach Karpushenko. She is also part-time in Novgorosk so maybe she is with Shtelbaums there. But I think maybe you confuse it because Shtelbaums was the only russian coach in Prato? This is quite common when just a couple of gymnasts go to a not so big competition.

Yes, I know about that. Wink However; I think when she is in Novgorosk Shtelbaums is her trainer.
But I did not know about Karpushenko. Thanks. Smile
