Unsuccessful all-round day
Ukrainian National Group was not succesful at the all-round day on the World Cup in Nijny Novgorod (RUS). After the first exercise with 5 ribbons Ukrainian girls were in fifth position, but 5 drops in hoops/clubs exercise dropped them already to 8th place.
Tomorrow the World Cup Finals will take place in Nijny Novgorod, which is the more important. As the all-round competition is not counted for World Cup, it is considered only a quallification.

I disagree, the Azeri group isn't at nearly the same standard as the Bulgarian and Chinese groups for example. They have very poor routine with no interesting elements and the body skills of the gymnasts isn't as good as many other groups. _________________ Jon |

I think everybody understands the price of this bronze medal. Every day I begin to hate RG more and more
I will never say that Ukraine deserves a medal in group event because they don't deserve it, but the same I can say about Azerbaijan _________________ Ridentem dicere verum quid vetat

Dear IH,
how ukrainian gymnasts still compete after having such bad results ? I know that it's the passion, but it must be horrible to work so much for...nothing OK a 3rd place is not so bad, but theyn know that they don't deserved a such place...how they do ????
And what about coaches ?? _________________ If gymnastics were easy, it would be called football... |
