Moni surely will be Smile Tomorrow will be a press conference with the organizers and they will say are there any changes in the list of participants. Unfortunately Galina Shirkina from Ukraine will not come.

For now in Bourgas are gymnasts from Argentina - Anahi and Analia, I think.

And in my opinion it's not less important that Tom Theobald is here and he's already working on his new photos Smile

But it´s so sad that Galina won´t come. Sad

Thanks Lyudmila!

Hi to RG friends,
If IH posts, you will receive way better analysis. Just quick impression for now. For winners...case again where Vera had maybe fewer mistakes. Generally the travel schedule of UKR was a factor (7-hour layover at Budapest, arrive 0100am Friday morning at Varna and then several hours drive to Burgas. Whew!). At Friday night's trainings the girls were tired (how not, if you up all night traveling). That has to carry over into Saturday some. Finish to Anya's ball was missed and went out of carpet, so the placings could have been different on that alone. Simona was big fan favorite (I didn't put my earplugs in, but they love her here and it was loud:)) Same, same for Stela and little Monica Mincheva).

Conditions...very low-key event and friendly. There was no national anthem during the medals and earlier gala before was primarily two exhibitions from Bulgarian rhythmic group. For photos and video... There was Bulgarian tv crew working and someone surely has saved the recording. I had none of my friends here to work with and I missed them. Here the security was so cool. Is GP event and no press card really needed (guess because I was only photographer) and just move where you need the position along sides, stay clear of judges area and take any open seat in stands and not block fans. Wish all events were this cool. There was 1/3 f/stop more light Saturday, then day before and I made new white balance corrections. Very little contact with organizers. Except one (I cann't forget this!), only introduced once before to the lovely Maria Petrova (by Ivan at Sofia 2002) and I was so surprised when Maria came to talk to me briefly during the competition. It was very nice of her to say hello and I felt very welcomed. Special thanks to Lyudmila Dimitrova and her daughter Kristina Petkova for so warm hospitality. Ok, I get back to photos and try work quick gallery before today's EF starts at 1600hrs... -T
