I am thinking about painting my rubber clubs because tape does not tend to stay on and it is hard to tape such a weird shaped appratus. What do you use? Arcrylic paint? Does the paint tend to peel off of rubber clubs after handling the clubs too much? Or should i do something to prevent that? What have you found to be better...paint or tape? Thanks |

I always paint my rubber clubs and I think it works a lot better. I use a kind of oil based paint that is strong. After you paint them and let it dry, put a protective gloss over the paint. This prevents chipping and makes them prettier. |

What kind of gloss? And can you peel the paint off, after the season is over? |

when you buy the paint, there should be a type of clear gloss that is the same kind. If you don't know, ask the people who work in the art supply store.
Yes, you should be able to get the paint off when you want to. |

Can you paint plastic clubs as well? I don't like rubber clubs.. If I drop them, they tend to jump very far away from me.. |

"Paint for cars" is a laquer and is very dangerous to use (although also very durable). Make sure you have a lot of air and ventilation. Try using a acrillic or latex paint and then clear-coating it as has been said above. If you start with a white club the paint can be thinned with water and "glazed" on thinly which shouldn't affect weight (laquers are also rather heavy). |
