Cause Viner choose Lina and Vera to represent Russia-not Olga.
BTW: Why defend her title?Olga has never been EC AA champion. _________________ If you can dream it you can do it |

The reason Kapranova wasn't competete is that she became to be 3rd on Nationals. Viner said that She has now 3 numbers 1 in Russia so it's very hard for her top choos who's going and who isn't. That's why at the Europeans will competete those 2 gymnast's who'll be better at Nationals. Kaba won, Sesina was 2nd. . . _________________ _______________________________

No, no, no. Chaschina is listed at first with 50xxx points - meaning that this is the score after three routines. You can make this unofficial list, but even on the UEG website it is not mentioned any AA title in the statistics part.
What you have listed is just who got the hisghest scores - there were no medals for them. One thing though - this can't be after all qualification/team routines... Because that would consist of 8 routines for each team, and you unofficial list doesn't. |

I'm a little confused here... ... I saw a couple of days ago the full broadcast of the AA competition in EC2005, and I saw Olga was first, Anna second and Ira third... can someone please explain this to me?

According to new UEG rules in 2005 there was only team competition for seniors and finals (comp. I and III). AA competition for seniors came in 2006 (competition II), where only 20 best from previous year are allowed to compete.
Clear? So there was NO AA competition in 2005, but it was this year! Kapranova was EC in all 4 finals in 2005!
Rules:
- odd years (2005,2007): teams seniors, finals seniors, groups juniors
- even years (2006, 2008): AA seniors, team juniors, final juniors, groups seniors
I think this is how it is with EC! |

OK... but I'm still confused here ... see, I bought a DVD with the routines of Ira in EC2005 and in this DVD there're routines from team competition, apparatus finals and AA (and all are different... you can tell this by looking really close to the tiny mistakes and the leos of course)... so I understand when you tell me that in 2005 there was no AA competition and this was this year... but what 'bout the routines that I have on the DVD... 'cause they're from EC2005 no doubts of that... and the comentator says that the first day was team competition, next the apparatus finals and after that the AA competition (there're 4 or 5 days of competition right?)... .. so... I don't understand anything now! ... SORRY... _________________ Ira you always will be THE best!! |

Gabby, in Moscow 2005 there was only team competition (lasted 2 days), which was also qualification for EC 2006 (first 20 ) for AA title! Countries were divided in 3 groups and showed 4 app. per day. On sunday there were finals for seniors in each app.. For sure there was NO AA competition!
See the results on UEG site (archive) for 2005! |
