hi,
My ball recently died on me, and by that I mean it deflates permanantly. I pump it up but after my routine it is rather deflated again! People tell me its popped, but how can that be? and even putting tape over the hole doesn't help. My ball was also in excellent condition, and only 3 years old but still good. I wanted to contact sasaki about my problem but don't know how i can...
has anyone had similar problems?

Carlio

That happened to me before, and as far as I am aware there's not a lot you can do... what's probably happened is that the valve inside is punctured.... Sad

I'm afraid you are gonna have to get a brand new one Sad

Has anyone had trouble with their sasaki ball loosing it's rubber feeling, becoming to smooth to grip or roll?

This is happening with my Anniel sport ball. I got it brand new a year ago and it was really grippy and very good, but now it is becoming smoother and is starting to be harder to handle. Its very anoying

Wow thanks for the tip. I'm scared to do this!
Do they become rubbery again? I think mine is becoming slippy because it has fluff and dirt from the carpet stuck to it

Here are a couple of other tips that you may find helpful…

When inflating the ball always use a little glycerine or soap on the inflation needle before inserting into the ball, this will avoid damaging the balls internal valve, which is the problem that many are experiencing with balls deflating, as once the valve is damaged there is no way to repair it.

Please note that it is normal for the pressure in the ball to fluctuate with temperature, therefore try not to leave it in a very hot or very cold car for example, or in direct sunlight. The ball will also naturally lose a little pressure over time and with use.

Never over inflate the ball or it will distort the shape. Under inflating is not good for it either.

Lastly, try to store the ball in a soft cloth bag as it will help to protect the ball’s surface.
