|
|
In order to learn RG I want to buy my own equipment so here is what I plan to buy. I'm self-coached but my personal trainer is a flexibility specialist....
Rope - Sasaki
Hoop - Chacott
Ribbon & Stick - Sasaki
Clubs - Chacott w/ rubber ends
Ball - Sasaki
Shoes - Sasaki
Do you guys agree that these are the best options available?

Sasaki toe shoes are REALLY good for pivots but rip within a few weeks. Sasaki rope is hard to rotate and do spin for me :S _________________ It takes 64 muscles of the face to make a frown, and only 13 to make a smile. Why work overtime? |

i like sasaki sticks but the ribbons fray really fast and its very heavy feeling i think unless you use string to attach them but i have a pair of chacott clubs and i have had them for about 2 years and they still look brand new _________________ Dreaming of you, wont help me to do

I've had my sasaki ribbon for a long time and it sill looks brand new.
I have a metal attachment on my ribbon also and I like the heavy feeling as it forces me to work harder |

I think it is the stick rather than the ribbon that is heavy I have one of the normal white fibreglass sticks and my ribbon doesn't feel very heavy. I personally like the heavier sticks, it makes my shapes neater.
I recently bought some new Grishko half-shoes and within 2 or 3 times of wearing them they have gone into those ugly grey patches where my toes rub I swear they never used to do this so quickly! _________________ Bring on the wall!
