Coral Kremer is from Poland , not Israel ?? |
This is not a mistake, she will represent Poland... |
Why did she "left" ISR?!
Thanks very much Tom, nice reports! |
for a better chance for a spot at the Olympics. She has a relative in Poland or something which is why it was easier for her to change nationalities. She continues to train in Israel.
question: is the International competition just like the Out of Competition section at the Moscow Grand Prix? Because I see that Ksenia Mustafaeva is competing |

Aha I see, thanks for the detail!
Yes it is like in Moscow!
That's great because it allows girls as Kseniya to compete with some of the best individuals seniors! |

NeUTRoN_Hr,
Alona Dvornichenko did retire (for a couple of years, if I'm not mistaking), but decided to come back right before the Israeli cup which was held a few weeks ago, and has competed there too. |

Yeeaaaah, thanks, so good to see her!
I remember now that they said a few months ago that since it's the 10th anniversary of the GP, they invited many famous former gymnasts! |

I'm sorry but i'm laughing actually, seeing Merkulova so low now compared to about a week ago XD
Better to have that place fair then a super duper high place unfair imo |

Just came beck from Holon and I wanted to post the results, but I can see Tom already did it .
Quick impressions...
I think Daria D. was the best of the 3 Russians... Most stable. She had one big drop in clubs, but either than that good routines. Her ball was brilliant. She got the highest score of the competition - 28.85 (that was for ribbon).
Kanaeva had big mistakes in her ball. Overlall she isn't really in best shape. Had small drop in hoop, some problems with clubs, ribbon. I don't think here first place was deserved.
Kondakova had 2 good routines - ball and hoop. She was great. Then clubs was horrible, many drops (she got 25.. Last routine was ribbon, she dropped it as well. Not the cleanest of her.
Garaeva was actually quite good. I mean, only one big drop.
Alyabaeva, this girl I don't get. She was fine, no more than that. Pretty clean, but so boring.
Rivkin was good, she had mistakes only in her last routine (clubs), the croud cheerd for her (well, she was home).
Trofimova - I love her. She had a small drop in ribbon, other than that a small mistake in each routine besides her ball (in which she scored 27.72, higher than Kanaeva).
I'll write about the other gymnasts later... |

Youandi.
Merkulova had some huge mistakes both with clubs and hoop. She actually had a great ball routine and a nice ribbon routine, for which her scores were up in the 27s. |
