According to the news in the site Kabeava won't be in Kiev.the Russian team will be-Kaprnova,Sessina and Shpket.altough i'm more then happy to see Shpket in the G.P. competitions, i'm really disappointed that Kabeava isn't going to come-when i saw her in the G.P.in Moscow in a good shape with so much confident-showing all her program i thought to myself well she has nothing to loose -she was already a world champion and an olympic champion and now she can compete freely ,but when i read that she isn't going to come to Kiev it looks to me like a tactic move -to achieve her aim(agin...)to be always no.1... Sad

Dalitmarcus,
Re Alina, this is quite typical of the early RG season. Often the major teams hold back early and then by Thiais GP, they show all their cards (some years). Then again, some of us are very happy to see Marina Smile
There maybe more participants info tomorrow at the press conference (1400hrs at "Planet Sport" sports bar near to Kreschatyk). -T

Hi Anna,
It is probably colder there where you are in Solothurn part of Switzerland and southern Germany at the moment (from the tv reports I see on Deutsche Welle news). I think they are saying it is...+1 °C (34 °F) here in Kiev at the moment. Where you are it is more like -4 °C??? Anyhow bring multiple layers, plus hat and gloves are a must have! Wish drug stores in Europe carried Zicam cold medicine (I have extra)...has beat every cold for me for long time, whew! -T

Ummm, I better explain again:) "Planet Sport" is a sports bar in middle of Kiev near to Kreschatyk metro...this sports bar has alot of tv screens and there is also a conference room for press interviews where Albina and Irina Deriugina will brief the media Tuesday. Normally Anna Bessonova and Natalya Godunko are there also, to answer some media questions. IH has the best info re video of D-Cup..."Ukrainian channel MEGASPORT will show the whole competition on Saturday and Sunday". So tune your satellites! -T
