Vera Sesina decided on completion of the sports career
Champion of Europe 2006, repeated world champion in the individual exercises in gymnastics 23-year-old Vera Sesina decided on completion of their sporting careers. This is the Agency of sport information «All sports» reported itself Sesina Vera (pictured).
«Yes, it's true, I decided to finish with gymnastics - confirmed Vera Sesina. - Earlier this season, I seriously expected to have lasted at least a year, but life makes its adjustments. Once again there were problems with health, injuries ... And I thought that might be enough. The last two months is not practice. So the European Championship in Baku was the last start in a career. She earned a gold medal in the team, three silver in the individual exercises - so it went, as they say, on a high note. It is a pity, of course, that has not been able to speak at the Olympics, but it's fate. The mood? Yes, you know, great! Now mostly just rest, get pleasure from life. Two consecutive months of continuous leave - so long I do not relax, perhaps with children (laughs). Plans are very many. First, you need to finish your RGUFK where I am now at the fifth year of distance separation. Secondly, I will continue the work of the Commission Athletes International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG), I had it for everyone. In June, I went to another meeting, which dealt with by another change in the rules. I, on behalf of the athletes had expressed our views. The next meeting will be held in September at the world championships in Japan, I, too, there will be present. Apparently, there will formulate some new goals for the commission of athletes. Affairs, as you can see, a lot. There are other plans, but so far I would not like to speak about them. So far - I rest (laughs) ». |

It was the right time for her to retire though; She hasn't been in amazing shape. But all the best to her. I hope this will provide Kondakova with a little breakthrough at Worlds. _________________ Anna's The Real Olympic Champion! |

I´m in shock!...I expected to Kapranova before Sessina...
I didn´t like both but I have to admit that I enjoyed her last competitions...I loved her ball routine...it´s a pity...for her...
But I´m happy for big chances for Kondakova in Worlds and others as Lukonina, Dmitrieva and Ermakova.....
I hope Kapranova will think about it soon..
I just imagine after Universiade,´cause of Kondakova wearing Sessina´s...was kind of weird... |
