Swarovski crystal patterns

I'm applying crystals to my leotards for the first time this year and I have already bought all the crystals and all the right colors, but I can't get the pattern right.

I want the crystals to go from many to fewer as on the black parts of that leotard, but everytime I try it ends up being straight lines and looking more like a stripe. I've been packing the crystals out on a sheet of paper though, so my leotards are still safe.

Does anyone have any advice for me or ideas or larger pictures of the same type of crystal pattern?

use different sizes and just put them randomly. spacing them more and more. You will need A LOT of crystals in order to get the look as in the picture.

Yes...it´s a lot of work..probably I would start with the big ones first on the side and then the medium size...small size...little ones...and I think this would work...to make that blur effect with crystals...
