isn't it possible to sew them on? I think it would be better. Else a little superglue on the stone and on the spot where you want to put it on (not to much so it doesn't leak) and press it on about ten seconds let dry completely and hope they don't fall of. (maybe you want to use special glue for clothing I dunno which would be better). |

Swarovski and some other companies offer heat set crystals that can be put on with an iron or hand tool. Crystals like to pop off stretch fabrics when they are stretched so you need to use pressure besides the heat to keep the crystals on.
If you are afraid of melting the costume using heat set crystals, there are many types of jewel glues on the market. Get one that dries clear. You can use the back of a pencil to put a spot of glue on the costume and then add your crystal. They stay on best if some of the glue oozes out over the sides as this prevents them popping off when the costume is stretched. Just don't over do this as glue on the crystals reduces the shine. I use the heat set type, but some of the glues that I have heard work well are Amazing Goop, and Shoe Glue. Also remember if you are using a lot of crystal in one spot that this will reduce the stretch of the costume. Leave space between areas of dense crystal, since loosing stretch will effect the fit of the leotard. _________________ ~Isabel~
